Bespoke intraocular lenses
Toric lenses
Ask Dr Jeremy Diamond about toric intra-ocular lenses if you have significant astigmatism.
Extended depth of focus lenses (EDOF)
EDOF intraocular lenses provide a limited bifocal segment which enables the eye to have good long-distance vision while allowing the eye to read larger print in good light, without the need for reading glasses.
Multifocal lenses
Modern multifocal and trifocal intraocular lenses allow the eye to see well for distance, middle-distance and near, without the need for reading glasses. They work best when implanted in both eyes where there is no other eye problem present (eg macula degeneration).
